This variety is quite hot. If you are a chilli lover then this one is just perfect to enjoy daily without a scorched tongue, it is just pleasanty hot, and will have you coming back for more. These go so well in a winter stew, or any hot dish really. An old and always popular variety for home gardeners and commercial growers. You can dry them and use them powdered up just like paprika, except Caynne will be more spicier. I find that the heat hits fast and hard but goes just as swift, though one or two of these in a stew will be more than plenty of heat for most. I like these for their bright red color, the nice size, being much larger than most chillies with this kind ok kick. They also are good keepers, store well, freeze well, you can even add one or two into your cooking oils, let the flavors give your cooking a bit of zest.
